Wrestling
Wrestling is a physical combat sport where two opponents compete in matches, using a combination of strength, technique, and strategy to gain control. The goal is typically to pin the opponent’s shoulders to the mat, force a submission, or score points through various moves and holds.
Taught by Coach Neil Cook with over 40 years of experience in Greco-Roman and Freestyle.
Ages 8+
WHAT TO EXPECT:
This class teaches various techniques, proper posture, strategies, and positioning used in wrestling. Taught by instructor and by drilling with a partner.
WHAT TO WEAR:
- Rash Guard / Athletic type shirt & shorts
- Mouth Guard
- Deodorant
- Wrestling shoes * (Barefoot is fine)
*Please keep wrestling shoes on mat only, use separate shoes off mat & in bathrooms
