Muay Thai
Muay Thai is a traditional martial art and combat sport from Thailand, often referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs,” it involves using the fists, elbows, knees, and shins to strike opponents. Muay Thai is popular worldwide and is a key component of mixed martial arts (MMA) due to its effectiveness in stand-up fighting.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Class will start with a warm-up, followed by partnered technique drilling and eventually sparring. This is a fast-paced class that includes a lot of cardio and conditioning, expect a good sweat!
WHAT TO WEAR:
- Rash guards / athletic type top & bottom. Bottoms must have snug-fitted lining to maintain modesty while kicking
- Rank belt
- Mouth Guard
- Deodorant

- Head gear
- Mouth guard
Kids Classes:
Kids classes start at age 4 and offer a similar structure as the adult classes, often teaching the same techniques at a more age appropriate level. Our kids classes are separated by age ranges 4-6, 7-13. If your child is 13+ they are welcome in the adult class; feel free to speak to a coach with any concerns.
